Swot Analysis

SWOT analysis was created by Albert Humphrey between the 1960's and 1970's. It was designed to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats within a project or business venture. Can also be used in business planning and if there is a crisis at hand the steps to followed are outlined by SWOT.

"Albert Humphrey was born 2 June 1926 and was educated at the University of Illinois where he graduated with a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering. After this he gained a Master's degree in Chemical engineering at M.I.T. and an MBA at Harvard University.[1] His work at the Stanford Research Institute produced a team method for planning which created SOFT analysis and this was developed into SWOT analysis."
